BIOSCORE CERTIFICATE
RECOGNITION OF OUR ACTIONS
International certification that recognizes our work in sustainability in all our accommodations.
The actions implemented in recent years have led us to obtain the BIOSCORE sustainability certificate in all our Magic World Resort establishments.
The questions posed in the BIOSCORE certification are aligned with the official international criteria SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals), GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) and GSTC (Global Sustainable Tourism Council).
We work hand in hand with this renowned seal to improve our actions regarding emissions, restoration, waste, energy and water.

MAGIC HOTEL GROUP
UNITED TO GRAVITY WAVE
Magic teams up with Gravity Wave to restore our oceans
At Magic World Resort, we are reinforcing our commitment to the planet by collaborating with Gravity Wave in the fight against plastic pollution, which is alarmingly damaging marine ecosystems year after year. A significant part of this problem comes from abandoned fishing nets, materials that can take up to 1,000 years to decompose and pose a serious threat to ocean wildlife.
Thanks to the collection of more than 708,000 kg of plastic and a network of 80 active collection points, we turn waste into new resources, guaranteeing the traceability of the entire process through blockchain technology.
Together we are moving towards a cleaner, more responsible and sustainable tomorrow.

Making a Magic Place
LESS PLASTIC, MORE LIFE
Reducing the use of plastic materials is essential to protect the planet in the long term and reduce our environmental footprint.
That's why at Magic we have launched a series of initiatives aimed at minimizing and eliminating those plastics that end up in the oceans, damage the food chain and generate CO₂ emissions during their production and transport.
Energy Saving
EFFICIENT AND SUSTAINABLE ENERGY
At Magic World, we work every day to ensure that our guests enjoy affordable, responsible, and planet-friendly energy.
Actions that make a difference
• Efficient lighting We exclusively use low-energy lights, significantly reducing the energy impact.
• Making the most of natural light We have relocated and redesigned spaces to maximize the entry of natural light and minimize the use of artificial lighting.
• Reduction of CO₂ emissions We opt for local products, optimize our energy equipment and use electric buggies for internal transport, achieving a constant decrease in our carbon footprint.
• Towards energy self-sufficiency We are installing solar systems that bring us closer to the goal of zero impact.
• Smart climate control We program the use of air conditioning and heating in optimized time slots, reducing energy consumption without affecting the comfort of our guests.

Drop by Drop, We Build a Better Future
WATER SAVING
Reducing our water footprint and using water responsibly is a priority within Magic World's sustainability plan. This commitment protects the environment and biodiversity and contributes to safer food production. We calculate our water footprint following the international standard of the Sustainable Hospitality Alliance to move towards more efficient consumption.
Key actions:
Responsible cleaning: We only change towels and sheets when requested by the guest, reducing water and chemicals.
Low-consumption taps: Installed in most accommodations to avoid waste.
Efficient showers and toilets: Water-saving systems that optimize water use every day.
